Deborah Wituski (Chair)

Deborah is the Vice President of Global Intelligence at Google, responsible for a global program informing business decisions with trusted security risk analysis to protect the company. She served in the US Government for 20 years, holding senior positions including Chief of Staff to the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency and Chief of Staff to the Deputy Director of CIA; Associate Executive Assistant Director of the National Security Branch of the Federal Bureau of Investigation; and Deputy Assistant Director of CIA for Counterterrorism. Deborah earned a BA and MA in Political Science from West Virginia University. She completed her PhD in Political Science from The Ohio State University.

Andrew Jones

Andrew serves as the Imago Dei Fund's Impact Partner, focused on foundation strategy, operations and impact assessment. He has worked nearly 30 years in the international development and human rights field with extensive programmatic, management and policy experience overseas and in Washington, DC. Prior to joining the Imago Dei Fund, Andrew worked for a range of organizations globally, including Impact(Ed), CARE, Oxfam, Save the Children, UNICEF and International Justice Mission. Andrew holds a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Area Studies and Economics from Duke, a Master's degree in Public and International Affairs from Princeton, and a Law degree from UVA.

Bill Coglianese

Bill is a partner at Jones Day, where he is a member of the Issues & Appeals practice group. His practice centers on developing legal arguments and drafting briefs laying out those arguments. Bill has assisted The Network in assessing a number of strategies from a legal perspective. He is a graduate of Grove City College (2007) and the University of Pennsylvania Law School (2010). Bill lives in Bethesda, Maryland, with his wife and two daughters.

Cindy Deere

Cindy is a retired Finance Executive from Shell Oil Company. During her time with Shell, her responsibilities ranged across a multitude of finance roles to include Head of Internal Audit, General Manager of US Pension Plans, Mergers & Acquisitions and various business unit Vice President Finance roles. Cindy also worked as a commercial lender at Union Bank of Switzerland, Credit Suisse First Boston and The Bank of Nova Scotia prior to her time with Shell. She holds a BS in Accountancy from Louisiana Tech University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston.

Cindy is a past board chair of the Houston Area Women’s Center, previously serving on the finance, audit, leadership and executive committees. Other external volunteer efforts include a board seat on The Barnabas Partners - Houston, a seat on the Gutierrez Energy Management Board at the University of Houston, the Governing Board of Trinity Lutheran Church in Houston, and the Houston Symphony board and education committee. 

Carey Eisenberg

Carey is the Director of Major Gifts and Donor Relations for the Partnership for Public Service, managing a nationwide portfolio of major gifts partners at the six and seven-figure level. She has over 25 years of experience guiding the development of non-profit organizations and raising over $13 million budgets through strategic relationship management. Previously, she oversaw major giving programs for RepresentUs and the Tahirih Justice Center and shared her expertise as a consultant with Heller Fundraising Group. Carey holds an MBA from George Washington University and a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Spanish from the University of Rochester.

David Ayres

David leads a venture consulting firm that invests in early-stage companies with disruptive technologies or services. He has over 25 years of experience in strategic analysis and crisis management counseling for global executives and government leaders. During his public service, David served in the U.S. Department of Justice as Chief of Staff and in senior leadership positions in the U.S. Senate. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in economics from the University of Missouri.

John Ramsey

John is an Assistant Attorney General in the General Litigation Division of the Office of the Texas Attorney General where he litigates on behalf of the State of Texas and its many agencies and universities. Previously, John served as an AAG in the Human Trafficking Division and Crime Victim Services Division. John has spent the majority of his nearly 20-year career in law based in Austin, TX, however, he also spent a year in Nairobi, Kenya as a legal fellow for International Justice Mission. Alongside his work as an attorney, John spent several years as a standup comedian and comedy writer. John graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Religious Studies from Rhodes College in 2002 and received his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law in 2005.

Mark Herskind

Mark has spent the last 25 years working in the hardwood lumber industry for Baillie Lumber. He lives in Buffalo, NY with his wife, Joelle - who is by far, the best part of their partnership. They have four kids and 3 grandsons. Joelle and Mark are deeply invested in different holistic ministries in the city, focusing on health and empowerment, and really enjoy building renovation projects as it relates to these organizations. Prior to moving back to Buffalo, Mark spent 8 years in active duty military service (US Army Special Forces).

Sam Donnelly

Sam is a military veteran with leadership experience in various types of teams and organizations in the government, small business, and nonprofit sectors. Sam served in the Army for 20 years, participating in numerous deployments in support of overseas contingency operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere in the Middle East. Most of his deployments occurred as a component of the Joint Special Operations Command. Sam had a break in military service as he assisted Ian Hassell in founding the Network. Following that time, he was recalled on active duty and served for two more years, retiring from the Army in 2018. Sam then contributed as an early stage employee and equity holder in two successful technology start-ups. He now serves as the president of the Paterson Center. Sam graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in Operations Research (Industrial Engineering). He also holds an MA in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College (2011) and an MBA from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management (2022).

Sarah VanLoh Rectermann

Sarah VanLoh Rechtermann is a Vice President at Olea Partners, her family office, where she supports investment strategies and philanthropic initiatives. Before joining Olea Partners, she worked in the medical and mental health fields, conducting research in maternal-fetal medicine and neuroinformatics, and serving as a clinical mental health therapist. She has brought her passion for medicine, health, and healing into the investment realm, focusing on investments and philanthropies that promote innovation and create a lasting positive impact. Sarah holds a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. She resides in New York City with her husband, Jack, and their dog, Billy.
