Vanessa, a proud Army brat from Killeen, Texas, was raised around the world—including time in Frankfurt, Germany and Columbus, Georgia—before settling in Maryland in 2002. She has since established strong roots in the DMV area and currently resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, an active duty Officer of the U.S. Navy, and their two energetic children.
Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys grilling, watching sports, and cheering on her favorite Texas teams—the Cowboys and Longhorns. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu with a creative upbringing, she brings a vibrant and thoughtful perspective to everything she does.
Professionally, Vanessa offers extensive administrative and operational experience, most recently with a drone technology company. She previously spent six years with the Sierra Club, where she developed a strong foundation in organizational support and mission-driven work.
