- Who can attend the convening?

The convening is designed for professionals in the anti-trafficking or related field seeking to improve their response to human trafficking in illicit massage businesses. This includes law enforcement, investigators and prosecutors, city or state massage therapy regulators, code enforcement officers, immigration attorneys, victim service providers, human trafficking survivors, and government officials. The convening is not open to the general public. All attendees must be 18 years or older.

- Who is hosting the event?

The convening is hosted by The Network, National Association of Attorneys General, Law Enforcement Training Academy and Consulting, and Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards. You can learn more about each of our co-hosts on our hosts page.

- How much is registration?

Early bird pricing is $65 if you register on or before November 14, 2024. Registration cost will increase to $90 starting November 15. Registration includes access to the entire two-day agenda, coffee, breakfast, and lunches for both days.

There is a limited amount of scholarship funding available. Any scholarships offered will be determined on an as-needed basis. For more information, please contact convening@thenetworkteam.org.

There is no virtual attendance option for the convening.

- How do I register?

You can register for the convening by clicking on any of the “REGISTER” buttons on the convening website.

- Can I register my entire staff team all at once?

Yes, you can register multiple individuals during online registration. When selecting the number of tickets, please select your preferred number of convening attendees and enter the corresponding information.

- Can my organization be an exhibitor?

Yes, if your organization would like to have an exhibitor table, please select the exhibitor table option during online registration. The cost of an exhibitor table is $50. If you have multiple people attending from your organization, only one person needs to select the exhibitor option.

- Is there a virtual attendance option?

The two-day convening will be an entirely in-person event. There is no virtual option.

- If I have to cancel, can I get a refund for registration?

Refunds for registration are available until December 19, 2024, although the Eventbrite administration fee is nonrefundable. To request a refund, you must contact convening@thenetworkteam.org and provide your full name and ticket order number. All refunds will be paid out directly to the card used to purchase the original registration. No registration refunds will be given after December 

To modify, cancel, or request a refund from the Renaissance Arlington Capital View, you must contact the hotel directly.

- How do I book a hotel room at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View?

You can book a hotel room at the Renaissance for the convening here or by clicking on any of the “BOOK YOUR ROOM” buttons on the convening website.

- Can I share a hotel room with a co-worker who is also attending the convening?

Yes, you can book several different options at the Renaissance for shared lodging. When booking your room, you can select “1 Room” and enter the number of guests as preferred. You can then select 2 Double Beds or 1 King Bed, depending on preference and/or what is available. Every attendee must still register individually for the convening and pay the registration fee.

- Can I attend the convening without staying at the Renaissance hotel?

Yes, you can attend the convening without staying onsite at the Renaissance. During online registration, please select “No” when asked if you will be staying at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View.

- What amenities are at the hotel & venue?

You can see a list of amenities at the Renaissance on our venue page or on their website.

- Who is presenting at the convening?

All presenters are listed on our agenda page. This page will be updated as more speakers confirm their participation in the convening.

- Do you have an agenda?

The two-day agenda is being developed by the co-hosts. When it is finalized, it will be posted on our agenda page.

- Can I attend just 1 day of the convening?

We highly encourage all participants to attend both days of the convening. Registration cost is the same and is not discounted or refundable if you only attend one day of the two-day event.

- Will there be internet access at the convening?

Wi-fi will not be available on the conference floor, but is available for free to Marriott Bonvoy members in their guest rooms.
