Debra Persinger

Dr. Persinger brings a rare combination of management experience, examination expertise, and national and state legislative know-how to the FSMTB where she is the executive director. 

She is a former university lecturer and has authored several publications, including a student study guide for Human Sexuality, an instructor’s manual on Marriage and Family, and coauthored Conversations with Teachers of Asian Medicine. 

Debra serves on the Board of two non-profit associations and was recognized with the KCSAE Distinguished Association Executive Award in recognition of outstanding leadership and achievement in association management.

She frequently presents at national regulatory and credentialing conferences and more recently has provided trainings for local and federal law enforcement agencies about the intersection of massage therapy with human trafficking.
