Ms. Eve He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and serves as the Senior Supervising Clinician for Anti-Trafficking Initiatives (ATI) at Sanctuary for Families. Ms. He has been actively engaged in anti-trafficking work since 2018, specializing in supporting survivors from the illicit massage industry and addressing associated forms of exploitation. In her role at Sanctuary for Families, Ms. He leads the ATI case management team and ensures holistic services are provided to survivors in crises, including services related to housing assistance; financial aid; education and employment assistance; and medical and mental health support.
Ms. He has also been a direct service provider for the past seven years, working specifically with survivors of trafficking in the illicit massage industry. She provides culturally informed psychotherapy; psychological evaluations; victim identification assessments; and legal advocacy services. She also provides organization wide trainings and consultation to ensure culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices are implemented to best serve the large portion of immigrant survivors.
Ms. He was born and raised in Mainland China and is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Sun Yat-sen University in China.
