Investigative Specialist (I.S.) Faith Roman began her career with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office in 2022. Prior to this, she was a missionary in Japan for two and a half years with the Christian organization Youth With a Mission (YWAM) and speaks Japanese. I.S. She was also the driving force behind a 2024 illicit massage parlor operation in Collier County, FL. The operation yielded 11 arrests of the business operators and identified multiple human trafficking victims.

I.S. Roman has received various commendations for her work but none more powerful than a thank you letter from a victim of human trafficking, a constant reminder of the importance of the job we all share.
